Before you can title and register a vehicle, all outstanding tickets, dishonored check(s) fee, delinquent child support payments, or any other debt you owe to the District of Columbia Government must be paid. I can't renew in VA since I'm no longer a VA resident (switched the license already) and I need to park in DC (Zone 6) since I live there and commute to work (the RPP time restrictions are OK based on my commuting times).Īny ideas? Here's the situation:Ĭar is currently registered in VA through the end of June. Sorry for the uber-specific question here, but I'm not getting any help from the DMV's website and frankly I'm not sure what to do.
